Hi! There are definitely instances where we have to pay retail (and some stores we’re more OK paying retail for, like Uniqlo—since their prices are already very reasonable/less inflated), but in general, we shop at a lot of sample sales, and head straight to the sale section of stores (typically in the back). When buying online, we also search for coupon codes (or at least a free shipping code!), or we wait for sales and promotions, which typically occur around holidays. Hope that helps!
