Rent the Runway Sample Sale
There haven’t been too many worthwhile sample sales lately, but I’ve missed the thrill of the hunt so we decided to drop by the Rent the Runway sale today! As I looked through the window of the space, I eagerly anticipated scouring the racks upon racks of pretty dresses! <3
When I got there a bit before 5 p.m., the after-work rush had not yet started so I was able to calmly peruse the racks.The sale had quite a variety of dresses, especially in the larger sizes but still a decent selection in the 0-2 section (and in great condition). There were multiples of certain dresses, while other styles were more scarce. I scored 2 dresses that I’m quite pleased with!
Sizes 0-12!
Z Spoke dress, Retail: $350, Rental: $60, Scored for keeps: $70
Milly dress, Retail: $450, Rental: $50, Scored for keeps: $68
Now, the question becomes- where to wear these??
They won’t be restocking dresses but they might bring out a few more accessories. And, rumor has it that they will be slashing prices towards the end of the sale, although the selection could become rather skimpy. (A saw a long line for the dressing room when she arrived before 7 p.m.!)
